That is absolutely embarrassing. 3-1 with 1st base open, the catcher is calling for essentially a ball, and you hang a slider right over the middle of the plate.

Partially, yes. But anyone with half a brain should have known to be extra careful and not give him anything even remotely good to hit. They're both at fault, Banny for falling asleep and Lohse for being a talentless idiot.

You can see it coming almost every time with these guys pitching to Trout and Pujols. They won't throw strikes and then when they give in they are going to get beat every time
