Down a goal after controlling most of the first period. Greene and Fayne played some of the most horrific defense I have ever seen in my life on that goal. God these 2 are getting scary again as the season winds down.

The refs have been absolutely killing the flow of this game. One of the worst officiated games I've watched in a long time. Devils are getting the better scoring chances, we need to start capitalizing. Clarkson probably earned himself a suspension, or at least a fine with that jumping hit.

The shot totals in this game are a disgrace..I mean I like defense as much as the next guy but this is just ugly offense.

or if elias doesnt try a blind behind th eback pass when he stole the puck all alone 2ft in front of the net it might be 1-1.

This is the truth. Both teams were god awful this game. Very exciting, but ugly game.

The refs let everything go and it was one interference play after another for the entire game.

Tough to fault Marty entirely on this one. I don't even want to give a ton of credit to the Ranger D. They were solid but we spent way too much time trying to set up the perfect play instead of just ripping shots on net. Way too many mental errors for this team last night. Sloppy passing, bad positioning, letting the Rangers get in their heads (Clarkson). That is a game we should have won, but like the Tampa Bay game we just didn't play smart.

My biggest concern from that game was the Rags neutralizing the 3rd line. Zubrus was getting held and hit all game long and they never really got anything going.

The other players I can disregard as total incompetence. They're not gonna be missing the net every other shot and blowing point blank scoring chances with shots that go out of play (damn you Henrique) on a regular basis.
