This is where I think I lose a huge part of voting in drafts... gene upshaw is a damn beast, Hannah may be the best... I go after size at oline/dline... not just fat asses, strong big mobile guys... I'm not saying if upshaw grew up in the 80's and got the strength training and things he wouldn't be bigger... this is the first time I grabbed Munchak and I was skeptical because he's 6'3" 285 pounds... upshaw is 6'5" 255, I could easily see him adding 60 pounds of rip and not slow him down but I can never pull the trigger when he is going to face 6'1 290 John Randle or 6'2" 303 pound Warren Sapp... I've got to get past that lol

Not with me. If Upshaw is going against a guy like Randle, I've got it even money. I consider level of greatness vs who they played against and factor in across the board in football, mainly because all the guys today are so roided up and would be about the same size if it weren't for the juice. As far as hoops, there are more great athletes in the game, but the pool of players to choose from is much higher now. Skill level as a whole is down. That's why baseball is the greatest game to me. Take out the juice from the Bonds era, and hitters 100 years ago were as talented as hitters today. It's a skill sport

I see your point but I think if a lineman is great, they are great. Remember Munoz was only 278

I agree with you both, it's what is holding me back sometimes... take upshaw... I looked at him Munchak a couple of 300 pounders and a couple of others... as much as I wanted the one of 300 pounders and upshaw I felt Munchak was a perfect mixture of the 2 (greatness & size)...

But that also goes to the Munoz vs Ogden argument... Munoz 6'6" 278 vs Ogden 6'9" 340... I've got to go Ogden but it's preference because I know how great Munoz is...

Oline is not as huge for me as Dline though... because when I think about grabbing Lilly 6'5" 260 and White 6'4" 257 and they are going against 6'3" 325 on the inside where there is no corner to try and use speed and deception, just grab our sack and kick ass... I can't get past it mentally...

I'm working on it but it's tough...
