when are the Raiders trading for Will Levis?
when are the Raiders trading for Will Levis?
Abdul Carter EDGE from Penn State and then pick up the best QB they can find...The teams with the first 2 picks both need a QB. The Giants pick 3rd.
They aren't.@DJ Fieri

They aren't.
First comment so true.....if ESPN wanted to they could get fans to believe Quinn Ewers should be the no doubt #1 pick.it is amazing how much the media drives opinions. It's not new but it can be epic less days. We're all dumber for it.
IF they love a QB at 2 Browns need to take him......but not just to take a QB.Abdul Carter EDGE from Penn State and then pick up the best QB they can find...
well if the Browns dont. The Giants will.IF they love a QB at 2 Browns need to take him......but not just to take a QB.
Yep....but hope is their top QB is there at 2.well if the Browns dont. The Giants will.
Force them to move up one spot or you will take their player.
Then you get something out of it.
brings me to my question. As I dont follow a lot of college players.Yep....but hope is their top QB is there at 2.
I think I'm willing to say what few fans will say (even though it's true for all). When it comes to QBs I don't have the first clue. NFL FOs - even the elite ones - see every pass a QB takes, watch tape WITH the QB, talk to the QB, his coaches and his teammates..........and they miss all the time on QBs.brings me to my question. As I dont follow a lot of college players.
Right now the hype is Sanders. But.
Is he actually that good or is this more of a name recognition thing?
Is the Cam Ward guy actually a better QB?
Are either of them really that good, but teams just being desperate?
What do you guys truly think of these two QBs?
Would have to believe were many who were not sold on Penix. I'd be willing to bet someone in this class turns out to be worthy of a 1st round pick. Will that guy go in round 1? Likely...but maybe not. It’s a terrible year to need to draft a QB. I’m not sold on any QB, I‘m sure Sanders and Ward will go high, but I’m not 100% sold on either of them being a strong franchise QB. I’m really glad my Falcons got our QB last year - even though the pick was controversial at the time it was clearly the right move - last year’s class had a lot of strong QBs, this year’s doesn’t. If Ward and Sanders go at 1-2, I have no idea who the Giants take at 3, I don’t think there’s any other QB in this class that’s worth a first round pick, much less #3 overall.
Agreed that no one knows for sure about these QBs, but out of last year’s class JJ McCarthy was the only one I was shaky on and still kind of am given that he hasn’t played, the rest seemed like they would all be strong. This year I’m not sold on anyone, but like you say you never know. I always thought Mahomes was better than Trubisky, Mahomes put up huge numbers in college and was very exciting to watch then as well, but people just wrote him off as playing in a pass heavy system and in the high scoring Big 12 plus the teams he was on weren’t that good. And I was never sold on Trey Lance at all either. But yeah you never know who will emerge as stars really, but this year’s QB class looks almost as weak as the draft class where Pickett was the only first round QB taken.Would have to believe were many who were not sold on Penix. I'd be willing to bet someone in this class turns out to be worthy of a 1st round pick. Will that guy go in round 1? Likely...but maybe not.
Keep in mind also few if anyone who thought Mahomes was worthy of going in round 1.....but many thought Trubisky in top 5 was OK. SF traded a haul to move up and draft Trey Lance.....but franchise saved by a 7th rounder.
Bottom line - hardly anyone knows what these QBs will become.
Cannot say I thought much of Lance or Wilson....then again, I also don't know if I ever saw either play a full game in CFB.Agreed that no one knows for sure about these QBs, but out of last year’s class JJ McCarthy was the only one I was shaky on and still kind of am given that he hasn’t played, the rest seemed like they would all be strong. Im still not entirely sold on Penix but nobody knows for sure on this upcoming class.Would have to believe were many who were not sold on Penix. I'd be willing to bet someone in this class turns out to be worthy of a 1st round pick. Will that guy go in round 1? Likely...but maybe not.

The game is all about the quarterback. If you don't have a QB you don't have a chance. They have no chance until they find a QB and that ain't happening in the spring.Abdul Carter EDGE from Penn State and then pick up the best QB they can find...
Ward is my #1 out of this draft class as well, I would take him over Sanders.
No way would I take Milroe with a 1st round pick, he reminds me of Anthony Richardson, who’s been predictably dreadful so far.
