Slow news day or month...

My mother is in town from Tennessee so I dont have any free time while at home. Its like having a 51 year old kid to watch all the time.

I've been pretty high on Ryan Tannehill's continued development this year...this morning I read a fantasy article that made some comparisons between Tannehill and Alex Smith.

Hey! Why you gotta harsh my buzz??? :pound:

There's more Alex Smith in him than there is Rodgers, I've always thought he was a lot like Smith, only he has a set of marbles.
And he can accurately throw more than 15 yards

I Agree ....nothing about mith reminds me of tannehill. All smith does is dump the ball off to j.charles. i see alot of upside in tannehill and i think he will have a good year!!!!! Man i would take Blake Bortles over Alex smith. Lol!!!! JMO

Tannehill seems to be developing into an NFL QB with some splash play ability. Smith has never developed beyond a game manager. Don't try to compare Tanny to Rogers but he is much superior to Smith.

Smith actually regressed to his plateau the minute Kaepernick replaced him. .that ship is sailed, your correct.

Jury is still out as to whether Tranny has more in him or not. I said last year he was about as good as hell ever be in 2013. Well, his completion percentage went up quite a bit, he took a chunk off of his INT's, but his TD's and yards (the things that really matter to us fantasy nerds) barely moved at all.

It wouldn't shock me if some day, some year, he reaches out and touches 4500 and 30+, but he'll never be the guy that you expect it from. .or at least you SHOULDN'T be expecting that. He's at the top of the list for QB2's, and the only way he'll be a QB1 is if Peyton, Brees, Brady, maybe even Romo retire, and no one else steps up to take their places, (Carr? Winston? Bortles? a kid still in college at this point? ) then he gets into the discussion by way of attrition.

Good write up,but i never said he will be a peyton, brees, brady or rodgers. I just think he's going to be a good qb.

Sorry DirectTV, but Rob Lowe owns those spots. And from a football aspect, Peyton is the only one who comes close.

Poor Eli...overshadowed again.

Well, I'm sure they'd love to continue them, but the FTC had to come in and bully them around, having had both DTV, and Comcast (the complaintant), I think their claims are valid, FTC be damned.

Not sure anything beats the tapanade though, not even super creepy Rob Lowe

I didn't participate in the Rankings Game, so I don't want to comment on that thread, but I must say that I can imagine a couple of people in our dynasty league muttering about @wilwhite including Cole Beasley in his list of top WRs. :rolleyes2:
