I don't know what you do. And you didn't say what the new job is. (Did you?) Sounds like typical middle management ambiguity. Or maybe that's your secret to success? Congrats Sam!

Retail manager Joe....................still gonna be the same but with another company.............pretty good raise and the bennies are way better. Just scared of all the tenure I'll be losing. I can give a little more info once I give my noice here (still have to clear background) but right now I pay $800 a month for insurance and there I'll be paying $450..................that's a decent raise right there. Bonus potential is right around 45K a year!

Good god...........................am I gonna be that guy again????? I think I might..............lose..............

(Rotoworld)Colin Kaepernick "looks like a different quarterback," according to teammate Vernon Davis.
Analysis: Kaepernick has been working with Kurt Warner on his mechanics from the pocket this offseason. "When I saw him, I didn't even know that was Colin," Davis said. "He was working on his drop-back. He looks totally different." Kaepernick is coming off a career-worst 86.4 passer rating last season, including a 60.5 completion percentage. The 49ers plan to ask him to run more despite his strides in the pocket. With the signings of Torrey Smith and Reggie Bush, Kaepernick is a good bet to improve in 2015.

Do you guys remember Jim Jensen, he played for the Miami Dolphins back in the days he wore #11. I think tebow can be that type of player.

That guy made catches,he threw the ball and he made some tackles, plus he ran back kicks. I don't think tebow can return kicks, but he can be a good utility guy like Jensen was.

Timmy Tebow...local yocals on the radio from Denver apparently have a memory lapse this afternoon. They were talking up how great he was in the 4th quarter, how many "great" plays he made. I remember miracle defense and special teams play, not to mention some amazingly acrobatic catches from Decker and Thomas and Co. on some horribly thrown balls

Re: Where we're from

Garland, Texas.

Born and raised on the Jersey shore, 20 years in CT., so Joe was on point.

From the movie Zombieland: "That guy down there... is me. I'm in Garland, Texas. And it may look like zombies destroyed it, but that's actually just Garland."

NFL schedule is out. Was updating my spreadsheet with the bye weeks.

Looks like everyone in the MBBRL will get to beat up on my Bears. (Except SP.)

I'm really getting antsy waiting for the draft. (And game 7 of the Lighting -Wings is on Wednesday.) So I went through ADP and updated my spreadsheet.

You figure that in a 12 team league with 14 roster spots, there'd be 168 players taken. Here are some notables that did not make the 168-player cut in ADP:

RG3, Cutler, Dalton
Gray, Helu, Woodhead, Ball, Taliaferro, Asiata
Pitta, Rudolph, Clay, Reed
Baldwin, James Jones, Bowe, Marquise Lee (all 4 are starters right now), Malcom Floyd.

Report: Bears fielding trade offers for TE Martellus Bennett -

Joe what's up with that? Thought he'd be vital without Marshall.

Lefty, I don't know what's up with Bennett. I think he's skipping OTA's and wants a new deal? Not sure how I feel. He's a good TE. But he looked slow to me last year.

Hasn't Bennett had three great Septembers, and absolutely nothing in October, November and December? Wouldn't be me paying him either.

Proof that some fantasy analysts need training camp too; just read an article saying Mike Wallace might have more value with Charles Johnson and Greg Jennings behind him.

Whoops!

Ramblings....

I miss Will and Scape. Bandit has been quiet too. Still waiting on Duff to chime in. Dawg seemed to drop from the board as well. I miss the good ole days. Where is everyone?

No one is posting much. A select few are. But posts are down, aren't they? Are we waiting for camps to open?

Was thinking of updating a post about why you should avoid rookies. But I don't feel like doing the research. I don't feel like thinking either.

How about a post about who we are avoiding this year?

So much FF news about nothing. Reporter X likes Mr. Insignificant WR. Beat reporter Zed thinks so-and-so is faster this year. And coach ambiguous says they have to get the ball more to RB Seldom Used. Same schtick for every team so it seems.

Posts are down, Joe no doubt. Maybe July is like this usually?
