Harrison Butker has some strong opinions, doesn't he?

If the Chiefs have a PR person, I bet they have added massive quantities of alcohol to their daily diet.

Anything to get the media coverage off of Rice's upcoming troubles! PR guy might have written that speech

You know, as much as the NFL has embraced fantasy football over the last decade or so, you would think that at least one of the people in the room deciding on the schedule plays fantasy football and could have told them that Week 14 is the last week of the regular season in most fantasy leagues so maybe we shouldn't have 6 damn teams on a bye that week. That week is going to be brutal.

Guess we'd best bank on cementing a playoff spot before than eh? ;)

Seriously though.. what nfl team wants to play 13 straight, then finally get a bye? Don't understand why bye weeks aren't ALL week 7-9, maybe 10.

Well we will only have to worry about it for a few more years before they add the 18th game and everybody gets 2 bye weeks.

Didn't used to have these late byes.

They should be week 5 to 12 with 4 teams off each week.

With David Johnson retiring, looking at his 327 ff points his sophomore year and how he never broke 200 again and 150 only once. Then thinking about the collapse of Dalvin Cook, and how mercurial RB success can be.

Well he just sucked and had one massive volume season. Suckered more than a few, myself and the Colts included, but the signs were there. He wasn't any better in 2012 than he was in 2013 and 2014, he just got more touches and scores.. all the metrics were crap all three seasons

Crazy how fast it usually happens.

And yet, there are still the rare unicorns that don't really slow down until 29, 30, 31.. and you just never know until it hits.

How about Karlos Williams (BUF)? Set to take over the RB1 spot after a nice rook yr. Decided it was better to sit at home and eat bon-bons with his pregnant girl-friend. .... blew up to 270lbs - never heard from again.

I think they call that the Eddie Lacy effect.

At least Fat Eddie holds a carry YPC over 4, he had multiple decent seasons
Eddie did it the right way. Spent 5 years in the league and earned around 10 million.

That buys a lot of bon-bons. :)

Edit: more like 7 and a half million. Yeah, still buys a lot of bon-bons.

yep, score that second contract, get the big bucks, and THEN go to shit. Danny Dimes knows how to play

Get that money, get out with your mind and body intact, and live your life a millionaire.

Not the worst plan in the world.
