Somebody really likes the guy and I suspect it might be Fisher. Sooner or later though, guys like Pead and BQ are going to be out the door because the Rams gave them every opportunity to succeed and they just cannot get past being injured.

Trade them to Minnesota for Adrian Peterson. Heck throw in Zac Stacy and Tre Watts as well!

I think Scherff will have a career very similar to another Iowa O linemen. Robert Gallery. He was just like Sharif coming out of college super strong but ended up just being average in the NFL. I think of it like this. is he really going to be better than Roger Salfold? I doubt it hopefully he won't have the injury history. But I can't picture him beating out Salffold at right tackle. Saffold was a second rd pick. The #10 pick needs to be an all pro.

That is not completely true, Gallery was an average tackle, but a pro bowl worthy guard. Stick Shreff at guard and let him evolve.

That's the problem I have. I don't want to take a RT or OG at pick #10. I think we can trade down with someone, stockpile a few extra picks and still get a guy we can start at OG/RT on day one. A situation like that is win/win for us...

Well, if Barksdale and the Rams both know he is going to re-sign, because he received no offers for the kind of money he wants, theoretically, there is no hurry for to him to show up. He probably then has another couple of weeks to ink his name on an offer which is definitely going to be less than the money he thinks he deserves.

You may or may not have said sucked, but you did say that Person, Barnes, and Jones obviously weren't good enough to play ahead of Wells based on what Fisher saw in practice, yet he is good enough to resign, that makes absolutely no sense Coug!
