Game 1 for Suh and Donald, along with other new guys on Wade’s system D. Amari Cooper was silent. Peters and Talib were pretty solid as was Josh Johnson. LBs looked good.


This D is just going to get better and better until they finally gel together. That’s what is scary

While Lynch was solid, he's getting an awful lot of credit for that touchdown where his line pushed the pile forward. A Rams linebacker (don't remember who) jumping on the pile from behind didn't help, pushing the pile downward but towards the goal line.

Better than you realize that Godzilla is a reference to Aaron Donald and King Kong is a reference to Suh, not actually fighting each other but teaming up.

unless the ref's let the OL hold Donald like they did at the Raiders home.... I saw a couple of plays where one lineman had Donald 3/4 the way in a head lock.

It was Littleton, and besides that, Talib while attempting to strip the ball out, essentially pulled him into the endzone. Of course as we all saw, both dudes redeemed themselves with INT's later in the game.

Of the three Rams D interceptions however, none was bigger than the Johnson TD.

A Raiders TD there and the Rams would have gone down by 10. From there, that's when when the Rams D finally shows up and starts to play lights out. Giving up 3 points, 5 first downs & 129 yards the rest of the way out.

Considering the Rams D gave up 10 points, 15 first downs and 266 yards to that point in the game, in just over a quarter and a half, I would say that was 'the' game changing play of the contest!

Great Coordinators make in game adjustments just like that.

Beast mode still has a little burst and that stiff arm. Oline helped
