Yep, BattleLyon, that deal with the Geeants was done and then Stafford got skittish. He'll get more guaranteed money going forward but the Rams will fork-out less for the remainder of the contract. The Rams should have forged ahead and got that Geeants deal. We were going to get a Second Rounder this year and a Number One next year. The Rams are going to pay for that in the long run.

If Stafford were to work in NY, that 1st woudn't be in position to get the next QB. That's always the trick with trading for future picks, you need that other team to stay bad.

I'm happy to have Stafford back and keep this current team together and moving forward.

He was already replaced.

He only played in 4 games last season, and wasn’t good when he played.

Yep. Avila/Dotson at guard and Limmer at center. Can add a depth guard if needed on the cheap in FA or the draft.

Injuries were probably a factor in his poor play (and moving him to center), but the Bears are taking on all of his salary. $15M in cap room this season, plus he's off the books for 2026.

Yea and those four games cost the Rams $28 freakin million. Nope I am sooooo glad he is gone. He has already been replaced with a way better and a wwwwwaaaaaayyyyyy cheaper Guard/Center the Rams found in their backyard at the recommendation of UCLA coach who has ties to the Rams through USC. That being ex-Rams D-Line Coach who recommended the Rams sign Justin Dedich who did play a couple of snaps last year when both Avila and Tub of Pig Grease Jonah Jackson was hurt.

now im kind of interested on what they do with Avila and Limmer. Avila was suppose to be center this year until he got hurt.

Avila will stay at Left Guard, backed-up by Justin Dedich. Limmer returns as the starting Center backed-up by Dylan McMahon. Brian Allen had one good year. Other than that, he was a waste of a player. Couldn't stay healthy.

Tomlinson was the Tutu Atwell of the Defense. He just was too small and was too erratic for where the Rams are headed. Done.

Two FA ILBs are really the only two the Rams should focus on. That would be Nick Bolton (Kansas City) maybe and Zack Baun of the Iggles (the younger and the better of the two).

Frankly they need to stop neglecting this position. They could get away with it as long as Donald was around to cover the weaknesses at linebacker but they don't have that anymore.
