Everyone is now admitting that the Rams do not want anything to do with Stetson Bennett going forward. Bennett holds the dubious distinction of being the only Ram to be benched during a preseason game in the modern era.

I recently listened to a podcast that expressed that everyone is now admitting the Rams totally wasted that Fourth Round pick because Bennett will be officially released in March during the beginning of the FA period. The Rams want nothing to do with him and nobody really knows why.

Again, instead of picking-up another O-lineman, D-lineman, a Secondary Player or even a Kicker, they go after a total wash-out worse than even G-Rob.

This is yet another reason why fans are becoming increasingly skeptical and losing trust in the scouting department/FO. Between overpaying players with huge contracts they regret later, the next worse problem is failed drafts, followed by mismanagement of game-day logistics like time-outs.

So we blew the Fourth Rounder last year and we don't have one yet this year. Not a good overall picture.

The Rams hiring of Desai has fueled speculation that the Rams will trade for Khalil Mack who will probably be sent packing anyways by new Chargers HC Harbaugh. Desai and Mack know each other from their Bears days and Mack wants to continue to play but doesn't want to move from LA. A simple walk across the hall will suffice.

Rumored deal would be a 6th Rounder for Mack or the Rams may just wait until he is cut.

Here we go again. The ShitferBrains twins and their legendary disdain for drafting O-lineman early in the draft are going to try and chase down Coleman Shelton to try to bring him back all-the-while ignoring a guy like Powers-Jackson in the draft. PJ is a very dominant Center who could easily start for the offense and he would cost the Rams far less money they are going to fork-out for Shelton who had 6 false starts this past year. Ten-to-one, this is going to be another Creed Humphreys affair AGAIN!!

Shelton will get a raise to stay, but it won't be egregious. Continuity is a good thing. I would expect Alaric to get a short extension as well. Noteboom likely to get get cut before his roster bonus mid March.

Last years class was pretty killer otherwise.

You aren’t going to hit on every pick, and they did a hell of a job drafting last year outside of Bennett.

I know he was great last year, but he was bad with the Stellers previously.

And we’ve seen this before where players have a career year right before they become FA’s, get the big contract, and then go back to who they were before.
