There is a lot of speculation about the Rams trading for Fournette, the big back from the Jags. Unfortunately right now we are 5.3 mil over the cap and are going to have to re-structure the contracts of either AD or Goff or both just to afford this year's draft class and apparently Floyd who has not signed a contract yet. So I doubt we will be going after Fournette who is buds with Ramsey.
He would be a good fit though.

I would rather go after a running back in the draft. We can have probably one of the top four by the time our first pick comes up. Last thing we need is to mess with our lack of cap space even more.

Zach Moss and Cam Akers are showing-up on a lot of mocks and the Rams have had face-to-faces with both. Ill take the beast Akers over Moss for one simple reason: Akers will be there in the third and fourth rounds.

You watch. When they re-structure those big contracts, watch McSnead make room for Fournette. Fournette's contract is 4.16 mill per year. Lose Gurley, bring in the Jumbo back!!
I hope you’re wrong but with the way the franchise operates, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if something like that happened. Since running backs don’t have a long shelf life, I’d always much rather take my chances with drafting them.

I’d almost be willing to bet that Dobbins and Helaire will also be around in the second round when we pick. I’d be interested in Helaire for certain.

No shock there.

It was either Goff’s or Donald’s

They needed money now. Donald’s may be next as well

They did get this big dude.
The Los Angeles Rams selected Clemson senior offensive guard Tremayne Anchrum with the No. 250 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

A 15-game starter as an offensive tackle in each of the last two seasons, Anchrum was a first-team All-ACC selection as a senior and second-team All-ACC selection as a junior. Clemson won the national title in 2018 and made it to the national title game in 2019.

The 6-foot-2, 314-pound offensive lineman also has a connection to Los Angeles through his dad, Tremayne, who played for USC's basketball team and led the school in rebounding as a sophomore and in three-point shooting percentage as a junior.

Rams select G Tremayne Anchrum with 250th pick

Many of the 20 are good enough to make the final roster and some, like Taylor may see significant playing time.

If Anchrum is as good as everyone says he is, the Rams would significantly improve their O-line if they move Colbert, who has playing time at Center, to the Center spot and insert Anchrum at LG because I have this suspicion that Noteboom is going to be LT before the season is done.
