I am beginning to warm-up to the notion that McSnead had to do what they are doing. In fact, part of last year's drafts selections was to prepare for what the Rams are doing. Although I think the real mistake was not re-signing Littleton, McSnead are quite adept in the draft especially when we are missing a first round pick for nearly the last four years.

Luckily Snead and crew are among the best in drafting.

And you are right BattleLyon. More often than not, FA is fools gold. The old adage that you win championships through the draft still stands true. Buying championships seldom works and there are plenty of examples for that notion in all of sports.

Here is a thought.There are two very good QBs still out there. Winston and Newton are still not signed. Screw Bortles. Let's sign one of them as a back-up and then push Goff to play up to what he is getting paid. If he doesn't, insert Winston or Newton. My preference is Winston. Younger, stronger, better arm, and the guy can run.

Newton may be done as far as the QB he used to be. The injuries continue to mount.

Jameis is the better option. He just needs to work on his turnovers. The talent is there.

Rams can’t afford either guy with what they are shelling out for Goff.

And if the Rams trade Gurley for anything less than a 3rd, then they are stupid.

Well ALR. McVay and company so desperately want to move on from Gurley and that albatross contract that THEY gave him, that they'll probably take a fifth to seventh round pick(s) for him. And yes, they will look stupid again after letting Littleton walk.

Well I feel a little better about losing good players after reading these posts thanks. Good points made guys. We will just have to keep the faith that McVay and the Rams knows what they are doing. I will sure hate it if we lay an egg the first season in the new digs.
