I got the story about Gurley refusing to take a physical on NFL.com. The app is also free and ya have to add your team selection which of course is the Rams to get exclusive reports. Then there is PFF, Walter Football, The Bleacher Report, CBS Sports, ESPN, Fox Sports, and NBC Sports. Then I have a friend who lives in LA that sends me emails of local Sports reports on the radio. Now you have my repertoire of sources.

I’ll say now Reeder could start at ILB. Believe he did this year a few times. Not sure tho

In the next couple of hours, the Rams are going to owe Gurley 7.5 mill as a roster bonus if they can't find a team to trade with. These eff-ups in the FO screwed-the-pooch with this ridiculous contract. As it unfolds, people are shaking their heads in amazement that a team would do this type of deal knowing what they knew at the time they concocted this mess.

And ten-to-one, Kevin Demoff had something to do with the complete lunacy of this deal. How he keeps his job is a mystery to me but at this point, between the three principles, (Snead, McVay, and Demoff) somebody had a real stiffy for Gurley to come up with such a debilitating contract that has literally hamstrung the Rams going forward. This is the kind of bullshit stuff you see with Daniel Snyder over in Washington.

Looks as though McSnead are gutting big contracts and starting a rebuild mode. Why they kept Whitworth remains a mystery. The release of Matthews is the same process. Cooks will be the next to go via trade probably around draft day.

They cut their own throat with that ridiculous Gurley contract and they took the least painful path by releasing him. The R-C move was coming eventually because they had a better player available. Keeping Whitworth makes little sense if they are getting rid if big money contracts and low productivity players.

We must have some SERIOUS confidence in Henderson going into this year.

It looks like his cap hit is only $6.6 million this year. This will end up as another dead cap situation after this year.

Yea right now McSnead are trying to get out of cap hell they put themselves into by being buddies to players they should not have in the first place. That is primarily the behavior of McVay. His inexperience and rah-rah bullshit got the Rams into cap hell PDQ. Now he and Snead are doing their level best to get out of the very scenario they put themselves into with such bullshit.

Apparently we are also releasing Clay Mathews???
This is getting ridiculous. The Rams are acting like their team was dead last in the league last season. Rebuilding a team that just missed the playoffs makes no sense. I think we could be headed back to the Fisher days.

Donald and Goff will be the only two with real big money because they are still very productive. McVay's new standard is if you get big money and you get less productive in McVay's eyes, your butt is out the door. If they need cap space, even though they just signed two FAs who are eerily close to that standard, and your production has waned, you are good as gone.

Well, we’ll probably be fighting for the bottom of the West again at this point. If we’re not going to contend this year, we might as well trade Ramsey and see if we can get back in the first round.
