Doesn’t include Spreights, Karty and Evans. Top notch drafting is how you build a contender.
Since the departure of Holmes to Detroit, the Rams Scouting Department has gotten much improved. I know there have been a number of changes in Scouts and Snead now has a larger tech-savy and analyses staff to seek out talent in the Draft. Whoever is responsible for finding the above players should be retained and hidden so he or she or whomever doesn't leave. Snead needs help with FAs though because his record is quite atrocious over the past several years.View attachment 385716

And to think the Rams were blasted for their trade for Fiske.View attachment 385716

Looks like a steal at this point.
Rams likely have 2 of the top 3 players for DROY voting.
Maybe an overpay for the “slot”, but not for the player they got.It was an overpay to move to that slot, but his play has certainly quieted that talk. It may revive a bit as we get to draft season and the Rams are without a 2nd rounder though. So far they have a 1, 3, 4, and 3 6s. With all their success in the 5th in recent years, that's a little disappointing lol.
Indeed. I think Snead and McVay now see the efficacy in keeping their First and Second Round picks with the acquistion picks of Verse and Fiske. Perhaps going forward, they won't be so willie-nille with that mind set and protect those picks and go after the Blue-Chip talent that can reside in those Two Rounds. All the better that they transitioned from F those picks to building through the draft.
