The Rams are not even in the top 5 and I suspect what Wolford saw Friday night might be what Stafford will be facing much of the season. The Eagles built that O-line mostly through the draft while McShit-fer-Brains are taking undersized WRs and RBs and a whole shit-ton of DBs.

After watching the replay of the Texans game, I am quite certain that the big Michigan tackle they took in the 7th round, Arcuri, is going to progress faster and may break into the O-line this year long before Bruss will even be ready to play. Arcuri had a great game Friday night.

The problem is clear. McShit-fer-Brains are not very adept at selecting excellent O-lineman in the draft and especially if they are early selections.

The last time the Rams took an O-lineman in the First Round who was a stalwart was Dick Vermeil and O. Pace. Ever since then, hit-and-miss. In fact if you look at the last two Snooperbowl Rams O-lines, the overwhelming majority of them that were All-Pro level were FAs: Whitworth, Sullivan, Corbett.

BTW, Jonah Williams on the D-line made a case for himself to be the next Sebastian Joseph-Day. He had a helluva game Friday night and he may break into the D-line rotation this year especially since Brown Jr is going to be serving a 6-game suspension for PEDs.

The Rams lost Daniel Hardy to an injury Friday night and he will probably start the season on the temp IR (returnable). Bruss and Hardy, out. This means players like Hines, Hummel, and Thomas will have their chances of making the team elevated.

Looks like the Rams O-line is ranked 8th in the league and Arcuri has played so well he is now been officially penciled-in as Havenstein's back-up surpassing even guys like Evans.

Hardy's injury is worse than originally thought and will require surgery to repair. Bored sports pundits are making light of the situation as some sort of a "Ramily Tradition". What a flippin joke. Hardy's heal time is going to take him far into the season and he may end-up on full IR. Pretty sad.

This Shit-fer-Brains jackass is now CYA'in because keeping guys like Jared Pickney over Kendall Blanton was a move of complete lunacy. This never should have been an issue and he just gave away a pretty good blocking TE with a snooperbowl ring and I hope Blanton has an All-Pro year just rub it Shit-fer-Brains face a few times. I am sure it has a lot to do with salaries that are going to be elevated next year when contracts like Havenstein, Gaines, and Troy Hill to name a few.

In fact, there is a list of 25 players that the Rams will not be able to afford half of them because of big contracts for Stafford, AD and others.

You always risk losing good/great players when you spend too much cap on several players.

It’s why what the Pats did for 20 years was so impressive. They had the best QB in the league constantly taking team friendly deals so the franchise could surround him with a great team. And when a player was going to require too much money, they were traded for other assets/picks and the franchise rolled on.

Because McShit-fer-Brains have been so flippant and cavalier concerning how and who they draft at the O-line position over the last five years and because of the massive injury to Bruss's knee (his career could be in jeopardy), the Rams are on the outskirts of painting themselves into a very bad corner with an O-line that is beginning to be thinned.

Now they will have to go into fix-it mode and I suspect that players like Arcuri, Kolone, and Evans and people they will have to bring in will be roster participants even though many won't be as good as say a Corbett. The Rams are now skating on very thin ice.

I will say that for how excited they were to get Bruss, he looked awful prior to his injury.

How can the scouting department be so excited for a guy that looked so bad?

They clearly need some better scouts for identifying OL, because it’s a conundrum how they can draft well at so many other positions, but whiff so badly on OL.

Yep, ALR, Anchrum has had two good preseason games and may be targeted to be the back-up for the L-R Guard positions. Arcuri has already secured the back-up position for RT Havenstein with Jackson securing the back-up for the LT position. That leaves Center where the Rams feel that Kolone has not quite got the job done.

Hmmm. Was there not an All-Pro Center who started right out-of-the-box that McShit-fer-Brains whiffed-on to select a freakishly small WR who has yet to complete a season a couple of drafts ago? Funny how sure bets on O-lineman are whiffed-on by these two and now they look really stupid when they need good Center help in light of the UDFA McCutcheon's speeding progress.

Jonah Williams is now officially the McCutcheon of the defense. Another UDFA, Williams will probably break the D-line rotation this year. He has having one helluva preseason and will def make the 53-man roster.

This game was the definitive contest where the Rams finally beat their nemesis of a decade in the divisional play-offs (now it's called a conference championship). This was the game that Jack Youngblood played on a broken left Fibula (the smaller bone of the lower leg) and a masterful tape job. If watch the whole game, you'll see a section where Jack is walking around on his taped-up broken left keg and it is clearly distended and bowed at the break.

Damn good football from an incredibly talented Rams football team assembled for Chuck Knox by Don Klostermann. WE should have won that Snooperbowl against Pissburgh but that as they say is history.

BTW, Dick Vermeil was in the announcing booth that day and he was making excellent but brief comments unlike the diarrhea mouths like Chris Collinsworth that we have today.

This is a very speculative article from the Bleacher Report but it is about potential trades that the speculative author thinks will happen in the NFL before the season begins. The Rams are mentioned three times: One trade is to bring back Michael Brockers; One trade for Scotty Miller, WR, Tampa Bay; And One trade to move Taylor Rapp.

Rapp is probably going to be traded before the season starts. We have a boatload of Safeties and the Bengals need one. A 6th rounder would suffice McShif-fer-Brains. They like picks from the 4th Round on out. After the discovery of McCutcheon, we won't be trading for Scotty Miller. The trade to bring back Brockers is reasonable and cheap and he would love to come back and potentially get a ring with AD, Gaines, and A-Rob.

Some of the players included in this article I think the Rams should look at are: O-lineman Ben Powers and Max Sharping; Edge Rusher Malik Reed from the Broncos. Rapp should be traded to Cincinnati for Center Trey Hopkins and a 7th round pick or Nick Martin from the Raiders brought in and signed as a back-up Center.

The article is still a good read. Ya have to go to the Bleacher Report website to read it because they don't allow transfer of articles.

As Retro stated earlier, the Rams would’ve been better served drafting Humphries instead of Atwell seeing as the Rams have no problems finding WR’s, and the emergence of McCutcheon makes Atwell unnecessary.

Unfortunately, McVay will use Atwell to try and justify the pick and McCutcheon will barely see playing time.
