Couldn't buy much with $150,000 and change, BattleLyon. Early Christmas gift from Havenstein. It is actually advantageous to the player get your money now by going the bonus route than have to wait for it over time by going the salary route. The Rams converted $3.84M of 2021 salary into bonus, clearing $3.072M of cap space. So Havenstein gets a chunk of change while getting a smaller salary. Both sides win and the Limp Biscuit seems to be more than willing to pay-out that kind of cash for a guy that has quietly become pretty good.

Why the hell did we just trade Kenny Young???
The only explanation can be for additional cap space. Another move must be close or this is a real head scratcher. Havenstein just restructured as well so the 2 moves create $5 million cap space.

The reason they traded Kenny Young is mostly money but also the Joneses are playing quite well in limited roles. Earnest Jones is a way better tackler than Young and Jamir Jones, the LB they picked-up from the Steelers is just too good to be on the PS and STs. They get rid of salary, they move-up one round in 2024, the Rams then move Earnest and Jamir Jones into full time rotations.

It is not too bad of a move and there is not going to be much of a drop-off between the Joneses and Young except for maybe experience. Also, the Joneses are much bigger and younger than Young and Young has been getting beat in pass coverage recently.

Also, expect the Rams to move Earnest Jones into Young's spot as well. This Jones is a way better tackler than Kenny Young and like the other Jones, he is younger and cheaper. So we are moving a Young for 2 Joneses!

The rumor mill has McSnead moving on a bigger trade involving Hopkins and possibly A-Rob. That's the rumor mill for ya.

The Broncos have 8 injured LBs on their roster. We also have a kid, Chris Garrett who has not played yet and Morris maybe moving Lewis inside where he played alot of the snaps yesterday.

With all of the trades McSnead have done in the last three years, here is where we stand with picks and compensatory additions going all the way to the 2025 NFL Draft. This of course does not include future trades and draft day shuffling that McSnead always seem do every year.

If you ever wonder where on the flippin money goes, this website is spot on. It shows dead money on players as well as who we are paying now on all of the various rosters that a NFL team holds. The place is called Spotrac or www.Spotrac.com

Had no idea Gurley would still be there in dead cap... Goff I understand and was expected.

The Texans just traded Mark Ingram II to the Saints so won't have to worry about him.

Nobody likes to be traded in professional sports but a familiar refrain is beginning to emerge with McSnead and getting rid of players. Yea, trading players is a component of playing professional sports and I suppose there is no real easy way to do it but what pattern that is emerging that bothers me is McSnead are GIVING AWAY players for next to nothing and paying huge for players we bring in.

If you think about Brockers, Goff, and now Kenny Young, we gave those players away to the teams we traded them to and we got little in return except for the swap of Stafford for Goff. Young we got a sixth rounder we don't see for three more drafts. Same for Brockers which is a seventh rounder. But Kenny is not cool with the way his trade went and it sort of caught everyone by surprise except for maybe McSnead.

Myles Jack is the LB everyone is speculating will be the next trade. The trade will be with Jacksonville, re-uniting Jack with Ramsey to make our D move to the next level. I hope we don't give away draft assets out-the-wazoo to get this guy and I don't know how the Rams are going to afford his salary with just under 6 mil cap space.

These are the players that some if not all will be moved in the near future because they ain't doing much in the case of Hopkins and A-Rob (cost way too much for what level their play/performance is-doing alot of bench sitting for big bucks) or they are in over their heads like Long. At any rate, I see one or two of these guys headed to Jacksonville for Myles Jack.

Maybe The Limp Biscuit has a pair after all or maybe he is trying to whine his way out of paying fees he said he would pay a while back when he was in St Louis. Interesting read. Well, things look like its too late. Maybe The Limp Biscuit is the new AL Davis? Maybe!
