McVay stated that no lineman that they could’ve drafted would’ve cracked their current 11 OL.

that should be very concerning to all Rams fans because that includes Demby and Allen.

that means McVay and Snead think both of those guys are good players and no one they had the opportunity to draft are better than those two guys.

While I'm no college football expert by any means but I feel like even someone like Creed Humphrey could've become a better center than what we have now.

While I'm no college football expert by any means but I feel like even someone like Creed Humphrey could've become a better center than what we have now.

Every Head Coach and GM in the NFL believes that their perceptions of a player's abilities are the best and the correct ones but this is sometimes referred to and known as fool's gold among the pundits who watch these peeps in control. McSnead are no different here. What is different with McSnead is their inability to let players go whom they have befriended and defended and they get blinders on as a result because of a factor known as loyalty.

This was the case with Blythe, Allen, and in a reverse scenario with Sullivan. It seems that once McSnead gets attached to you and you are loyal to them, the bond somewhat becomes a hindrance to progress to the team as a whole by holding on to you way beyond what naturally should be done in the NFL with its natural turnover.

Allen has been a complete bust and Blythe had really one maybe two good years. After the Superbowl though, where the Patriots defense manhandled him, it was quite obvious that the guy was a weakness in the O-line and should have been released in favor of a better player in the following year's draft. Nope. He was retained to the continued detriment of the offense. Same went for Goff. Other players were moved faster because the loyalty factor was missing. Talib, Peters, Sullivan and other come to mind.

Because McSnead applies loyalty to their players and it weighs heavily in their decision-making process, they sometimes just don't see or do the right thing when the evidence is clear that a change is needed at a given position who is held by a given player.

This has been the MO of McSnead for just about every move or non-move they have made since they have been running the Rams. I surmise it will continue and it certainly was operative this year when McVay states emphatically that NO O-lineman from this year's draft could crack the Rams Roster in this upcoming season. Pity.

This is a step in the right direction but what is McSnead doing to get the Rams another Lombardi Trophy. There is a danger here that the stuff in this article becomes the prime focus. The real focus is wins and Superbowl wins not just appearances and this is where McSnead need to go. Period!

Afterall the miscues of this recent draft, this will get you so pumped you'll want to go out into your garage and throw forearms into the wall for about five minutes.

I love what Donald did to Josh Allen in Buffalo, a game we should have won. Donald got Allen so frustrated and verclempt that Allen was whining to the ref like a little girl! I love it!!
