Here is one scenario the Rams could do to see if there is another team who is willing to take on Goff's contract and thus reduce our cap woes which may get really bad if the cap decreases from $198 mil to the reported $177 mil.

There are four maybe five teams looking for new QBs, future franchise type guys: Carolina, Washington, Pissburgh, Indianapolis, New England, and maybe Jacksonville with Urban Meyer as the new HC.

If one of those teams would take say Goff and we give them a third and a fourth this year, maybe we could move this guy now. If that happens, here are the top five FA QBs that we could easily bring in for cheap. I would like to see Winston with McVay and O'Connell coaching him revive his career with the Rams.

BEST QBS AVAILABLE VIA FREE AGENCY (FREE-AGENT BOARD RANK)

  1. Dak Prescott (1)
  2. Ryan Fitzpatrick (18)
  3. Jameis Winston (29)
  4. Cam Newton (34)
  5. Andy Dalton (56)
If we can't move Goff and have to keep for another two years, why not bring back Bortles or even Fitzpatrick (who started with the Rams) to help coach Goff into being at least a better game-manager than he has been the last two seasons.

If the Rams are going to move on Goff, they'd better get on their horses because Watson is going somewhere and the Colts are talking to the Iggles to land Wentz. If the Rams wait too long, they won't have any potential suitors for Goff. Here is another list.

And if this is all true and it is, then much of this points to three peeps: Goff, McVay, and Bonemago, the last who should be fired.

Not bad at all.

In 2019, Morris began the season on the offensive side of the ball coaching wide receivers before taking over as the Falcons' secondary coach. Following that midseason switch, he helped Atlanta finish 6-2 over the final eight games, and its defense went from having the fewest takeaways in the first half of the season (4) to finishing with the second-most in the NFL (16) after Week 9. The Falcons' defense also improved from 32nd to 10th in sacks, 32nd to ninth in scoring efficiency, and 31st to sixth in redzone efficiency over the final eight weeks of the season.

And now we lost coach Joe Barry to the Chargers :L
Yep. Staley hires Barry to essentially be the DC/assistant. This means two more comp picks for draft years 21 and 22. McVay didn't block this move one bit. Let's see how many FA players we lose to Staley and the Chargers. Talk about a highway robbery!

Well. I think it was Terry Bradshaw on Fox that said the Rams should trade for Matthew Stafford. The new GM and Stafford have mutually agreed its time to move on. So, McVay can trade Goff for Stafford straight-up.

Lions are wanting at least a 1st rounder for Stafford in addition to other assets.

I’d say trade for Watson or trade Goff for picks and draft a QB or keep what we have.

I don’t know if Stafford can scramble either. Does he have better pocket awareness? Hell who doesn’t lol
