The pass rush has immensely improved now that Joseph-Day and Gaines have finally provided true NT's in Phillips' 3-4 D and Donald isn't doing all the work by himself. The combo of Matthews, Fowler, and Ebukam is just not going to be fair.

Letting Suh and that fraud Joyner go were two of the smartest decisions by McSnead/Phillips. Gaines looks awesome and he is a load even trimmed down a few pounds! Rapp is really doing well and so is D. Long. The combo aforementioned above got by our ole crazyman friend, Richie Incognito on several plays, who has re-surfaced with the Raiders.

David Edwards had a rough go against the Raiders and got schooled while he was out there. Welcome to the NFL, dude.

Man this team is going to be awesome and I suspect we will finally break-through for another snooperbowl win in the modern era!!

The use of Whitworth as an on-the-field coach in the preseason is McVay's sneaky way of grooming Whitworth for future coachdom. He'll be good at it and maybe he'll be the new O-line coach if Kromer ever decides to bolt.

I do believe McVay will resoundingly disprove these jackass sportswriters wrong this year who keep calling the Rams as one of THE teams to fail to make the playoffs. Sean's grandfather, John, had too much of an influence on Sean and the team that Sean and Snead have put together this year is once again demonstrating the emphasis on continuing to develop a winning culture in LA McVay style.

I really loved the the interview with Weddle and Steve... we got a good Veteran who's instincts and football IQ are better than this physical tools at this point. Don't get me wrong either even at 32/33 Weddle is still no slouch. That boost to the secondary should help in the event Talib goes down or one of the other guys.

Yea Jermaine: Rapp and Long are playing so well that Phillips can now relieve any a number of players at the corners and safety spots and not see huge decrements in total secondary defense.

Some sports entity just rated the Rams secondary this year as one of the top five in the league. Suddenly, we have layers of talent on D.

Rams head coach Sean McVay announced Thursday afternoon that most of the starters will not travel to Hawaii ahead of the second preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Speaking with reporters earlier this week, McVay said there are "multiple layers" to a decision like this. One of those layers, according to McVay, was doing what is in the best interest of L.A.'s players.

More to come later on therams.com.

“There’s just a level of talent that we should be able to put something together and do something special. I can’t speak on behalf of any hangover or curse or whatever you like to call it. But this team looks primed and ready to make another run at it.”

Kiser is out indefinitely. Goes into surgery today. Although injuries are never good news, guys like Oko and Patrick are going to step into this opportunity at LB.

If the Rams are going to sign a replacement of Kiser (which I doubt), there are a couple of good LBs out there that nobody has picked up.

Josh Bynes. who last played for the Cards and Mason Foster who last played for the Redskins come to mind. I believe Mante Teo is also available but he is on the downside if his career.

I Read that article. Stephone Anthony is intriguing. Clemson stud and has all the physical tools but I’m hearing he ain’t to bright. No idea what is holding this guy back but what an athlete
