Peters is a bit of a hot head but he can cover ground fast. Nice pick up. Now if the Rams can hold onto Watkins and T Johnson it would be great.

Tru is not necessarily gone and neither is Sammy. Very nice addition. This takes the pressure off the draft and if retain our first rounder and we add Jackson or one of the big three corners and we add a stud LB or two, we will be set defensively.

CB Marcus Peters will cost $1.74M towards the salary cap in 2018, and the Rams will presumably pick up his fifth-year option before the May 3 deadline. They entered the offseason with a projected $40 million in cap space and added an impact player to their greatest position of need at minimal cost. It changes everything about their offseason. More money for S Lamarcus Joyner, DT Aaron Donald, WR Sammy Watkins, etc., and flexibility with how they attack the draft and free agency.

I would be really surprised if our 1st isn't involved.

Remember, we don't have,a 2nd due to the Watkins trade and I just don't see KC taking a package that starts with a 3rd rounder for a pro bowl DB.

Maybe they traded next year's 1st or 2nd in the package instead in order to keep their 1st rounder.

I don't know if Tru is gone but the Chiefs asked for Quinn and Snead and McVay said no. It is going to be picks as the compensation.

My gut tells me we probably gave up our #3 this year and #2 next year. I hope it's no more than that. Also, when you hear undisclosed draft picks in exchange for a player, a #1 isn't involved!

Say what, the guy is the number one playmaker in the league. He has 19 picks in three seasons, no player has more and only Ed Reed has had as many as him in their first three seasons. He is an All Pro corner that you didn’t need to give up a first for. Fantastic addition.
