''It is the culture of the franchise ALR. We have been in a deep abyss for a long time and players instinctively know it and from what I know of Sports Psychology, players become chronically injured. It is a complicated conflagration of factors on both sides of the equation with players and management that contribute to chronic injuries before the season starts. I think this franchise needs a fresh start and perhaps things will change with the pending move.
It's the mindset of futility Clayton. We are all easily swayed by the past to harp on the negatives. But Foles looked good early on and in a real game, I don't think we go to the TE to the corner endzone on 3rd and 3 from the 18 or what ever it was. Turmaine Johnson looked good, had that knock down to stall the Raider No. 1's to force the FG. And then on the next drive on a very short field he had the INT for the touchback. Benny Cunningham looked good in short yardage pickups to keep drives alive. and Kenny Britt looked good and for that much so did our young No. 1 OL guys on running plays. They did have some trouble in protection on obvious throwing downs even though we had the TE's in tight. To follow up on the psychology thing, if the Rams had been super successful recently then you'd look at week 1 of the preseason and not expect anything. I bet Im not the only person who saw that first preseason game and was disappointed by...well everything except maybe Tavon Austin
