Let's hope St. Louis never hosts a Super Bowl!

For a long time I was against L.A. getting a team, but the more I learned about the Rams move from L.A. the more I couldn't help but feel the Rams were the best fit to move to L.A. This is still a crushing disappointment to the city of St. Louis and the fans of the Rams who are left behind.

Another reason I'm glad the Rams are moving is this means no realignment. I hated the thought of the Raiders leaving the AFC West. Had the Raiders and Chargers moved into a stadium together we likely would have lost one of them to the NFC. The Chargers are the least of the AFC West and honestly that wouldn't have been much of a loss, but it sounded like the Raiders would have been the team most likely to move. And that would have broken up some of the best rivalries in football. The Rams moving sort of renders that a non-issue.

The AFC West is just fine the way it is. There is no need to exchange an original AFL West team with an expansion team. That would be sacrilege.

Is there any grounds (pun intended) to this - or just your speculation? Like Crash, I think that would be a great move.

^ Davis has bought some land in/around San Antonio but many suspect he's using it as leverage. He seems to be following Kroenke's model but on a smaller scale: buy the land and make it sound like you're planning on building there. Except Kroenke was actually in a position to follow through.

No way Jerry Jones lets another team into Texas - I'm convinced of that. The Texans wouldn't like it either.

You don't miss the days of The Kingdome and Dave Krieg and the original Curt Warner ??

I agree, but Davis has already voiced interest in moving somewhere and he owns land in San Antonio. Jones is a pretty influential owner so if he doesn't want another team in Texas it probably isn't going to happen. Davis may be using the land as leverage anyway. Bluffing.

Okie Raiders would work for me - since I dislike Oklahoma anyway - and it will allow the Raiders to stay in the AFC West.

I don't get the love for LA or SD .. ass in seat is were they get there real bucks ....

San Antonio IMO is still probably the best market for the raiders and not really tread on any existing teams revenues . Oklahoma probably would the cowboys ..San Antonio is to damn far to hurt any of the Texas teams .

Birmingham is the best market bar none . I find it crazy they are not in that beautiful City ...All that gravy sitting there .. They sold 86 thousand seat out every game ...I don't get the love for an area that all they want to do is go to the beach ..
