I am for free speech too Chillipepper and I was prepared to edit posts but that idea was nixed by the owner. I have explained the rules to people and I am done babysitting people who simply don't have a clue what that means. We can not seem to be able to control this need for denigrating people when arguing and I was accused of being grossly incompetent by posters for letting it happen so I changed the rules to put a stop to it. The rules are in the post to all posters. Familiarize yourself because the days of being flexible are GONE. I hope I make myself clear.

Actually Retro, I wasn't offended at all, I just find all this nit picking name calling stuff by a lot of posters to be silly. Obviously we are going to have people that are not going to be swayed one way or the other by anyone or anything that is said.
I certainly didn't mean to get DK banned, I enjoy back and forth arguing as much as the next guy. I know alot of people don't agree with a lot of the things I say, but it doesn't bother me because I know I'm right!
Just kidding, I'm sure I may not look at all the angles and I may have blinders on at times, but that's just the way sports are. Didn't mean to get things stirred up here!

You didn't get DK7000 banned, Smed. DK7000 got himself banned for not abiding by the rules that have been changed and explained to him on several occasions. Banter is good until it gets personal and apparently we have had alot of people getting offended by the very style you are describing. That style is going to die one way or another and there are plenty of ways to communicate without inciting or baiting people with derogatory words, ideas, and sentences. I have warned DK7000 twice in three separate incidents with several people without a change in his approach. After awhile, I am babysitting and I have been encouraged to just cut the krap and rid the board of people who can't or won't abide by simple rules.

Well Clemens had a lot of catchable passes dropped in a contest where we out rushed the 49ers 114 to 83. Some big drops by Cook too. Those things kill drives
