Rams Acquire #1 Pick

Wentz or Goff? Michael silver of NFL Network is now reporting it will be Goff.

What does everyone think?

Sam Farmer of the LA Times was reporting Wentz to be the pick. It should sort itself out relatively quickly I would think. I like Wentz a bit better, but that's from a leadership/confidence perspective. Goff is the better technician.

I think our team is run by a bunch of idiots, that's what I think...Hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see what's so spectacular about this years crop of QB's...Plus to give up all that for a guy who won't even contribute for a year or two seems kinda silly for a team that needs help right now...

You don't give up that much for a guy that doesn't start day one. He will be the starter ready or not.

Wish they could've kept a 2nd or the 3rd. Now they only have 2 4ths and 2 6ths to fix center, WR, TE, and which ever holes you like on defense.

Denver reportedly had interest in Keenum. If the Rams accept lesser compensation than the 1st rounder they tagged him with, maybe a deal gets done there.

Did this team learn absolutely nothing from when the Redskins traded up to get RG III? Now if there was a QB that was going to have a Peyton Manning like career, then I'd be fine with it but I just don't see it with any of these QB's. This reeks of desperation of trying to make a splash while in Los Angeles and trying to save Fisher's mediocre ass. Stupid, stupid, stupid!!!

Well after all of their bravado about how Keenum is our starter during this entire offseason, I would expect him to be behind center in game 1...I don't want us to rush a rookie to start just because he was taken #1 overall. Even if we waited just a few weeks to let him watch from the sidelines and get used to the game, might be a good idea...

This trade is horrible.

It makes no sense. Both of the QB's have huge question marks whether they can even succeed in the NFL on a good team, let alone on a team with a young Oline and 1 decent WR.

And you just traded away basically all your draft capital to get this young QB any help.

Do they not remember what happened when the Saints did basically the same thing for Ricky Williams?

After ending last night on such a high with Kobe's epic last game, this sure is a huge letdown.
