Excuse me Boss, there were others who did see this coming. Granted I didn't see 38-8, who would? But I do believe there were three guys who were smoking something funny when the final was posted. Thank you retro for seeing my post and I believe it was a time over due that got the win. I believe through my cloud I said something about prior to the bye week and Austin, oh wait it must be the haze. I just having fun guys I never saw the game, I was at NASCAR in Phoenix today and only saw the score after it was over. My wife did DVR the game and I will watch tomorrow on Veterans Day as I am off work. Oh wait a minute, is that tomorrow or its it sometime else, I forget. Great game for all that I have read and thanks like always retro for the game line.

Sorry for missing you Blue. Apparently there were a number of those that I failed to give credit to....no offense. Whatever it was that gave you guys insight that I lack, please share because I could make some $$$ in Vegas. If I'd have bet the Rams would win by 30 I could probably own all the casinos in town about now.

SJ76. It may become apparent as we continue into the season that perhaps Sammie might have been the wrong choice. We shall see though. I do like the "game-management" skills of Clemens so far and his leadership acumen is notable at this juncture. I am surprised he has shown the grit that he has and I do like his footwork and the majority of his decision-making as well as his release. Again, I hope it continues and we shall see.

Oh my goodness

Compared to a QBR of 13.6 against the Seahawks.

So far I'd say we've lost one game because of Clemens, and the game we won wasn't because of him. Tavon Austin's 2 TD he was so incredibly wide open that there's absolutely no doubt someone like Sam could have hit him there. Indeed Tayvon has scored on 2 long TDs before - they just both came back because of irrelevant penalties.

Clemens is a career 52% passer with 10 TD, 15 picks, and 15 fumbles. It was nice to see the Rams play a complete game against a 'good' team without its top LT, WR, or RB. But Clemens is a stop gap, not a starter in the NFL. Even if they win out, they will still be looking to replace him whether Sam is on the team or not.

Yea Demiurge. You have some valid points going forward about the QB situation and we shall see. Clemens may work himself into a starting spot especially if he continues his solid play and the team rallies with him. It has happened before with one Kurt Warner. I am not suggesting Warner and Clemens are on the same level but sometimes in this game people play above their expectations and rep.

Agreed. But Warner was an unknown quantity, and it turned out he was great.

Clemens has had plenty of chances, we've seen his skill set. If he plays far better, I think at least some of it will be due to the line coalescing and the WRs learning their jobs. Again, it is AMAZING how young are WRs are. If these guys get time to develop with Bradford, I think we could see some really great things.

Its just the contract situation with him. This year he's the 9th highest QB cap hit in the league. Next year it jumps up to #3 (back loaded contract). If I were the GM I'd be pushing him to renegotiate at this juncture. He doesn't deserve money in the Manning, Brees, Stafford and Brady area.

Brockers especailly. I think he's played his best football the last few weeks.
He is still really young, too. He could end up being a really good player for a long time if paired with our 2 excellent DEs

Clemens at least is getting better with playing time. He's not the answer for next season, that's a given. I would kept him as a back up though. Bradford never got better after his first year. Bradford got worse. RAMS need a new QB. Draft A QB. Get one in FA maybe.

We have a number of FA's at the end of the season we ain't going to be able to keep if they start playing better. That being Langford and Saffold. Either one could stay and I think either has an equal chance of being re-signed but I think Saffold will want to go unless he really flourishes at guard which from all indications is happening. Keeping both is going to be tough especially with Sammie's contract and the draft could easily get a bigger, younger, cheaper DT and Cudjo is playing pretty darn good as is Conrath. So, go figure!

Actually your not wrong, they both have been playing very well

You're correct but I still expect much more out of Brockers. He needs to dominate.

He is starting to on a weekly basis LTR. He has a tough go of it this week going against C. Long's brother who by all accounts is one badass dude like his brother and father. I wish we would have drafted Kyle Long but we may see him down the road via FA.
