My first thought as a Florida resident is this would be awesome.

My second thought is the spring training stadiums are all open-air. Those July and August games would be brutal.

Why divide into 3 divisions? There are 15 teams in each so set up a 100 game season with top 8 by record playing 3 game series(1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6 and 4 vs 5), surviving team with best record plays surviving team with worst record and so on. The winning teams from the Grapefruit and Cactus leagues play each other in a 5 game series at a neutral protected site

So the Sox e 3 playoffs teams and the orioles in their division? Actually I’ll take that because Minnesota was in a horrible division and the Braves are still young. Tampa would win that division.
