Damn, y'allz got me all teary eyed here.

I'm fine. Just took a little break from football and the message boards to focus my time/resources on a couple of other things. My posting frequency had tappered off before the wisky game, but that ass kicking pretty much eliminated NU from the NC picture.

I'm still taking advantage of a volitile stock market to do a lot of trading since August. I also have my severe weather hobby. It helps take my mind off the divorce/custody stuff.

From the last trial date, it took the judge 3 months to do 1 hour of work (at best) on the divorce. He violated and overlooked many laws. I will be appealing his gender biased/lazy decision to the Nebraska Supreme Court. It will be time consuming, but it's what needs to be done in this god-forsaken State that continues to live in the past, and fails to protect children from parents who use them as a means of power and control for their own personal gain. My children's rights, best interests, and emotional well being have been and continue to be my main priority. I'm motivated in taking on a deeply seated "system" that others don't have the resources to do. In July 2010 the Nebraska Supreme Court went farther than they ever had in protecting the rights of children to have equal access to fit and proper parents. They certainly could have gone farther and I do believe they eventually will in the years to come. For now they need to digest the next round of how children are being cheated out of a portion of their lives when there is a parent who refuses to 'work together' with the other. Hopefully my efforts will benefit kids and their good dads in the years to come. I've stomached a lot of bullshit, kept very business-like, and put together quite a case to show my ex has been issued a license to be a parental alienator.

I shall plorst more frequently. The appeal process could take 1 - 2 years before it is even heard. It's a slam dunk because they 'have' to apply the law as it is they who write them. Once the current ruling is overturned, we'll go back to trial with a new judge. I hope to help future dads by establishing past case reference.

Good for you RA...

I know all too well how it is when women use the kid's as weapons. On more than one occasion I had to take my ex-wife back to court for contempt. There was one time span I went 3 month's that I didn't see my son, he was 7 years old at that time, he's now 19.
Believe it or not but it's the truth, my ex-wife tried to put a restraining on my wife to whom I've been married too for 9 years and love very much. Bless this womens heart (wife); my ex and I had exchanged words at an event, where there were several people at a banquet. As my wife and I were leaving out one door off to the side, my ex exit's out another just up from us about 30 feet. I took it upon myself to approach my ex and ask her if she had anything else she would like to say to me outside with her (ex) being accompanied by several friends(witnesses). Her answer was NO, my wife, who couldn't restrain herself any longer, say's: well I'm not done with ya, bolted her way around me and proceeded to kick my ex's ass right there on the spot. At that point I was DAMNED if I did & DAMNED if didn't; do anything to stop it. Yes, my wife was charged with assault and it ended up getting called a mutual fight in court. FINE PAID. (psst whisper: that was some of the best money I've ever spent).

To make a long story short RA---KEEP FIGHTING: I ended having full custody of my son by the time he was 12 years old... She did get reasonable visitation, which meant: when I seen fit. At that point, the POWER had shifted and I had alot more than she ever thought of having, I had the court on my side. (finally)

You have to have teacher's, daycare providers and any other non-family member's affividat's witnessing event's of misbehavior or hearing word's that may be detrimental to the children, speak on your behalf.

It's a long and expensive drawn out process, but in the end, you can and will prevail, the tear's along the way will be more than enough to make a river. But in the end it's all worth every single cent.

Good Luck my friend, and be prepared for a ROLLER COASTER ride through HELL. There will be several up's & down's along the path.
