Question for Steeler fans

Since most Steeler fans seem to mostly care about playoff wins, do you have a timetable on past success?
I mean, it's been 10 years since Big Ben has won a Super Bowl. How many years do you give him a free pass? With all of Brady's success, you have to ask yourself, could we have done better over the last 10 years if we had someone other than Ben?
Do all Steeler fans have the attitude of "well, we won a playoff game a few years back, all is fine, lets give him another 10 years"

Past success...it's always your history, but it's a year to year process so unless you're wearing a ring from the previous season, there are no free passes.

Ben...I'm okay with my QB.

IMO...the last Steeler team that really was a SB caliber roster was the '10 that lost to GB in the SB. While they did hang on to that roster for another yr, that was really the start of the retooling, especially the DEF which was a total turnover. From 2011 until now, (no playoffs '12 and '13) the Steelers have had some good records against fairly weak competition, but were exposed when they played the better teams including the 16 AFCCG.

Well, he's kind of right. The Steelers are so worried about beating the Bengals in round 1 of the playoffs, that they kind of rest on their laurels and usually lose the next game. So focused on beating the Bengals, and they are usually pretty physical games, they have nothing left for round two and lose. Then the Steelers call the season a success, because they won a playoff game. So I don't know if the Steelers are really getting the last laugh or not?? Meanwhile, over at "THE GILLETTE"
