I have asked around and everyone I know is retarded, or this cannot be answered and is a very creepy situation. I got an email from someone. I replied back to the message and got an error telling me their account doesn't exist. I get a second email. I try to respond again. Same message. I go to my work email and try it. Doesn't work either. How can someone send me an email if they do not have an account? Is someone fucking with me?

I worked with a girl who was Army MP and she said they had people who handled internet shit. I guess she could have been yanking my chain, though, because I wouldn't know any better.

They know a lot of shit. Maybe they do have internet people. I'll look into it, but I don't have a lot of faith in them. I like to take care of my own shit. I don't like people trying to fuck with me.

There are anonymous email sites where you can send people emails, put in a dummy from address and it cant be tracked. All the site has to do is not log any user activity and there is no info they can get from that site. The only other option is to know who it came from and they can either access the computer of the accused and look for cookies, or they can subpoena the ISP for activity from that account.

If you want to catch the emailer, you gotta do some good old fashioned police work.

I say you take a white board and develop a list of potential perps, then go shake them down 1 by 1.
