Does the runner on second count as an earned run against the pitcher?

The Sox are up 4 runs in the bottom of the ninth. Will pitcher get credit for a save since with no runner on , he would have had a three run lead?

The runner does not count as an earned run if he scores. No idea about your save question.

actually only 1 of the 4 runs was earned others were errors
