No argument there. Still, "abusive language" sounds like something that could be called every play.
Agreed, and it does. Especially along the line of scrimmage.
However, this is one Va Tech player, all by himself, in the end zone, talking shit, and getting in the faces of 6 Kentucky players. He drew attention to himself. I'd have called it taunting.
The ref took care of his ass and it cost the whole Va Tech team a likely stop.
.
If it was called on a Husker player, you'd be singing a different tune. Players blurt expletives all game long... you're telling me.... this time it's a penalty for some reason?
lol @ people getting their jimmies rustled at one of VT's players running his mouth when Kentucky's QB fucking swung at one of them before the game and is still playing.
I saw that. Apparently if he'd done that within 1 hour of kickoff he'd been ejected. The refs could do nothing about it since it was outside of that hour.
.
No I wouldn't. I'd be calling him a dumbass just the same.
He cost his team a first down instead of what would have been a 3rd and 15 for Kentucky inside their own 20.
What part of the game is being by yourself in the end zone talking shit to 6 Kentucky players with a ref right there? Get back to your team, idiot.
Shit coaches should have done something about it. He pushed one of them and they still didn't do anything.
VT should have told them either he isn't playing or we are going to file assault charges on his ass and he still won't play.

Bowden is one helluva an athlete and will be playing Sundays in the NFL as a WR.
One thing is for sure though. He ain't no QB.
Oh look, idiot Kentucky QB runs to VT sideline, taunts a player... and no call. Any commentary? Or you gonna keep silent on this one?
It shouldn't be tolerated no matter who he is. I don't care if he was a 4th string walk on that fingers Mark Stoops' asshole between plays to help keep him on his toes. The fuck is stopping a group of guys from jumping a star player pregame and injuring him on purpose?
