Punishing pro tennis players?

Here's a thought (after the latest invident with Nick Kyrgios). Don't fine them money!! Its dumb and stupid! They got tons of it!! What they don't have in tons is ranking points. See how fast they start behaving when they slide down like twenty or thirty spots and have to fight again to climb back.

That would be a lesson well learned. Good thought, but we know money means more, so it probably will never happen.

he'll only get fined the extra 15K if he doesn't behave like a decent human being for the next 6 months.

if he doesn't act like a decent human, he'll also lose a month of eligibility on the tour which will have a negative impact on his ranking.

something tells me kyrgios will behave, which is really the goal.
