Pulling goalie in OT

So I just heard that if a team pulls its goalie in OT and the other team gets the empty netter, they lose the point they gained for making it to OT? Who knew?


Anyone know any other rules that arent common knowledge?

When the visiting team must proceed by the way of the ice to their dressing room at the end of a period, they must wait for a signal from one of the officials before proceeding. Failure to wait for the official’s signal shall result in the assessment of a bench minor penalty for delay of game.

Delay of game for leaving the ice after the end of the period too quickly?

They should have gone with unsportsmanlike or something, because delay of game is dumb.

No shit? I wonder if they actually honor that rule and if not, they would really give out a penalty? I dont know of any time thats actually happened?

I guess its to keep players from mixing it up when they used the same tunnel to get to locker rooms? Have their own tunnels now.
