I think Kyrie, especially, has been really good.

His mindset really seemed to change those last couple regular season games where he was getting a little frustrated with his shot. That seemed to refocus him and get him ready.

He really has done a great job of taking the pressure off LeBron.

The Cavs are 8-0 and LeBron has not scored 30 in a game ONCE....his high is 27 for the postseason...tell me if u saw that coming.

LeBron is running he offense and Kyrie is playing more off the ball until scoring time. I know they have been trying to do this for awhile, but Kyrie is finally buying in and not forcing the issue.

Also, JR Smith had 2 games in the series with 35 or so minutes and fewer than 5 FGA. That is crazy. The Cavs want him shooting, but this stat shows evidence that he is not forcing the issue.

So basically you're giving your own team credit for a potential Cavs title. I see where this is going.:lame:

Just like the good 'ole CBS days when you wanted the ho-hum 50-win Celtics in the finals as opposed to the 62-win Cavs.:L

??? Enlighten me on this Celtics/Cavs stuff you are talking about.

Yeah, I mean, why the hell would a Lakers fan want to see the Lakers play the Celtics in the finals?

It's not like they're rivals or anything. :L

It's not like LeBron's Cavs owned the Lakers or that the Celtics provided an easier path to the title or nothing...

LOL you probably don't remember. But during that 2010 Celtics/Cavs meeting in the conference semis, all the Laker(s) fans on CBS were giving suspiciously high praise of Rondo at the time. Can't imagine why...

Whatever. They'll just throw him under the bus in Cleveland if they don't win the title and there will be someone else next year.

And you think it had nothing to do with revenge, from what the Celtics did to us just 2 years earlier?

Nobody was scared of the Cavs and nobody thought the Celtics would be an easier path.

That is the main difference with Lue. James respects him and will listen to him..for some reason. And I think it is benefiting him and the team.
Of course it's going to benefit him and the team - every expert in his or her profession needs some one who can give objective instruction, advice and etc.

Considering the Cavs didn't make it to the finals and the Celtics did. I guess the Lakers ended up playing the better team.

In fact, the Cavs had a great chance to show they were better than the Celtics. They played each other in the 2nd round and the Cavs had HCA. The Celtics took them out in 6 games.

A lot of people were praising Rondo considering how well he played, but you did not see any Lakers fans praising him for the most part considering our hatred for the Lakers. If anything we were trying to think of a way to have some one break his knees with a baseball bat. Sounds like you had a senior moment on this one

Either way - I think Lue has been a good coach that is worthy of being named head coach on a long term basis. That's all I was trying to say. I like the direction, attitude and plan of action he has taken and I like his system and holding the players accountable much better than Blatt

Yeah, considering that Rondo was only 23 years old and averaged 14 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds and 2 steals per game against them, I can't imagine why Lakers fans would think he was pretty good either. :L

Lue will be the coach next year whether they win the title or not.

Unless Pop or Carlisle comes knocking on Griffin's door... and that's not happening.

I hear Byron Scott is still available. Maybe he can come back and coach the team he thought he was getting when he signed on to coach the Cavs the first time? :heh:

I think Mike D'antoni would be a better fit for them. They had better hurry though because I think the Rockets were talking to him and a stupid, err I mean a really good coach like that is hard to get

On a separate note - If Luke Walton had not become available - Tyrone Lue would have been my second choice
