I think he's there solely to remind the rest of the brain trust that certain players are untouchable and that we need sold D prospects. Possibly as an added bonus he intimidates other GM's to give us better deals. He'll definitely be in the FO at some point though I'd like to see him head up the defensive development side of things.

NHL Network had an interview with him about an hour ago -- he seems like he's doing better (thankfully).

I doubt he'll ever be able to lace em up again, but it is great to see him being able to return to a semi-normal quality of life.
