Pro Bowl selections

Five Seahawks (Chancellor, Lynch, Thomas, Wagner and Sherman) have been named to the Pro Bowl and five more (Bennett, Hauschka, Wilson, Okung and Unger) are alternates. Obviously, if everything goes right they'll all be too busy prepping for the Super Bowl to play in the Pro Bowl, but it's still nice for the guys that made it to get the recognition. Wagner's selection is the most impressive considering he's only played in 10 games and still got a starting nod.

Pro bowl is meaningless.

This. As usual, there's a bunch of people in the pro bowl who are there on name and not accomplishment for this season. Much more interested in the all pro team.

My guess is Manning, Brady and possibly Romo will bow out of playing in the Probowl, leaving 3 spots remaining... Hopefully we don't have any Hawks playing in the Probowl at all...
