SoCal cracks me up; he is one of the few sc fans who came to the nd board on espn that didn't drive me crazy.

He drove me nuts with all his chest pounding when SC was doing good ... then would just disappear like a fart in the wind when they lost/sucked. Now ... DocFaustus, on the other hand, is/was a worthy SC fan that I enjoyed seeing on our board. He always had some common sense and would eat his crow when it was warranted. I would like to see Doc move over here. Jus sayin ...

And I would love the way Doc used to put SoCal in timeout and basically tell him to just STFU when he would go on one his raves about how much better SC vs ND. Do you remember the thread where SoCal kept going on and on on how much better a coach Kiffin was over Kelly and how SC was going to dominate??? OMG ... that was funny. He disappeared for weeks after that one.

I dont remember that particular thread but does not surprise me; I used to like reading the threads with him and 007 ...

I also liked doc; that picture of him claiming that he was standing in the middle of nd stadium was hilarious. That grass was like 6 ft tall and he and SoCal used to feed off the natural turf being designed to slow SC down haaaa!!!!!!

Lane Kiffin is my second favorite coach in NC2A football, behind BK of course. Absolutely love the what he is doing in sunny Los Angeles.

A favorite Kiffinism, among many, was last year when they were simply too good for the Sun Bowl and didn't even show up to the banquet. Then proceeded to get waxed by an "inferior" GT team only scoring one TD. Why even accept the bowl bid?

I sooo wanted a Meat-Chicken (aka Meeechigan) fan to make one of these kinda vids. That woulda made my year complete! I'm gonna miss playing them after 2014 ... I hope we can somehow get them back on the sked, b/c that's one of the most anticipated games/rivalries he have/had, and I have always circled that one on my calendar! Sad times when we cant meet on the football field anymore ... what a loss of a true tradition. I honestly dont know what game means/meant more to me than Michigan or SC ... toss up between the two.

Michigan was always a barometer game for us cuz we usually played them very early in the season and SC was a finishing game to see where we stood at the end. I would rather have lost MSU off the sked than Michigan ... I just cannot fathom the idea of not playing the Weenies every year.

My Kiffin over BK argument took a giant hit this past year I admit but you guys forget BK coaching at Grand Valley State in his fourth year as a HC and LK is head coach USC. So I'd say LK is doing quite well and will be 2-2 against BK if SC wins at ND this year.
Anyways, I hope to see more of the ESPN Irish fans here during the season.

Welcome aboard. I'm sure we'll have plenty of opportunities to debate this season, but I'm also glad to see that some familiar names have made it over. Any word on where doc landed.
