This was the problem last week against Houston too, the absolute refusal to run the ball when Manning's in the game.

Wow see what happens when we run the ball, Manning we don't need you to throw 35+ times a game.

Norwood is looking really good today, and then Manning kills the drive with a INT in the endzone, there's no need to make that kind of throw on 1st down.

Trevathan needs to work on his tackling, but he looks good overall.

I'm not watching but have the gamecast on. Offense looks a little rusty, or maybe the Niners are playing pretty solid defense tonight. I'd like the 1s to get more work in the 3rd quarter.

The 49ers aren't really doing anything special on Defense we're just killing ourselves. The Offense looks better than last week but still not what we're used too.

Yah.....Peyton really started to settle in during the first few minutes of the 2nd quarter. Horrible pass to DT on the fade for 6 though. Never should've thrown that. CJ and Hillman looking real nice. Defense was looking awesome.......all over Kaep virtually every time he dropped back.

Offense looks poor so far. pM has taken several hits tonight, I doubt they bring him back to start the 3rd. Certainly work to be done, but I don't think that should be too surprising implementing a new offense.

Second team D came in for the last SF drive that resulted in a FG. The majority of the yardage was Kaepernick gaining big yards scrambling.

One encouraging note - one penalty for 5 yards in the first half. Hopefully we can cut down on the # of penalties we had last year.

Kilgo with two tackles on the first three and out. He's impressed each game.

Wow Thompson getting the nod over Ball, makes me question if Ball is even gonna make the team at this point.
