Lol! Unleash the hounds!. The wins particularly vs Colts and Chargers and the loss to Cincy, they played pretty un characteristic football in those gsm. I am sure I'm not the only one that saw that because on the board after those games, a many voiced the same opinion on how flat and uninspired they looked and that po game vs Colts was a perfect example. Maybe you just saw scores or 2nd half of gsm is all I can think.

Or maybe I go by the actual stats instead of how I think things feel to me.

And I find it surprising that you would say we came out flat and uninspired in the win over the Colts. I mean, it's just amazing to me that you can jump out to a 24-0 lead and call that flat and uninspired.

I don't what to tell you but obviously your a stat guy and didn't watch whole gms when they played their primetime gsm last yr. If you did you would of noticed what I'm talking about. Yes, in Colts game they started fine but came out totally flat in 2nd half. Last yr for 1st time in 10 yrs I didn't get Nfl Sunday Ticket and so only got to watch Denver mostly in primetime games and they did not play with a lot of intensity/motivation as you would expect to see in most of those gms. My opinion and you have yours. Cheers

I picked 13-3 and would have been right except for the collapse against the Steelers.

I picked 14-2. Missed on the Colts and Raiders, and had the Chiefs and Broncos winning their home games rather than road games.

I had the Chiefs as a WC, but whiffed entirely on the Colts and Ravens. I made a comment about believing in the Dolphins and Bills, and while the Bills were respectable the Dolphins sucked. At least they were good enough to beat the Patriots in that last game of the season. And the Texans...I'm glad they came through. I think they keep the Chiefs playoff streak alive!

Even though I was the lone BIG optimist, I did have this little tidbit:

I constructed a believable scenario that has Denver finishing 3-1 and claiming home field advantage. And a plausible one that has us winning Home Field with a 12-4 record.
