Good news about no preseason games, is no other teams have seen any of our players, so it should be easier to getvtge guys we want on the PS.

With reports that HaHa hasn’t been all that good would he accept a PS contract if cut and he clears waivers?

not eligible but even if he were. no chance. I'd guess right now that sans a trade or FA signing he is still the favorite to start or be #2 on the depth chart. I think he ends up starting if I had to guess

They change PS rules for THIS season. They is no year limit on PS rosters.

Makes sense to allow some vets this year IMO. But still, no he won't. He thinks he is a starter or at least certainly a backup. I don't see us cutting him unless we bring in someone else. He isn't going to go on a PS. I think that would be more for guys who otherwise can't make a team. Maybe a guy like Noah Brown would if cut - not guaranteed to make another teams roster. HaHa knows he can make another teams roster.

Did they change the rules about vets contracts being guaranteed if on the week 1 roster this year also? If not I guess you could have guys like HaHa cut, but they'd be resigned a week later

It was just a question of IF hes cut and passes through waivers would he sign as a PS guy. Now of course if a team signs him to an contract he's not on any PS, but what if he gets no offers?

In all seriousness, my point is that I think if we cut him someone will sign him after week 1 at the latest

I agree, he's most likely picked up, or signed to an active roster. Just wondering if he'd except a PS contract?

Nope, but that did lead to my question.
They just don't have the depth to cut HHCD and not regret it even if he loses the starting job unless they make a move. Personally I'd be happy to sign ET and cut Dix to help pay for him

As much as I think ET is an ass I agree. I don't need to like a player, as long as he makes the TEAM better
