Agreed. Bernier's age would be a very big factor in how much value is needed.

The way goalies come and go in this league, you would have to be out of your freaking mind to give up a first and a blue chip for a guy who has NEVER been a starting goaltender, especially if said guy has had attitude problems in the past.

I guess the Blue Jackets aren't that high on Jonathan Bernier or they would have asked for him instead of Jack Johnson in the Carter trade.

Of the UFA goalies Josh Harding could be a possibility.
