predictions for tomorrow

although i have my idea of what i want the flyers to do i am getting more negative about it.

this is what i think they will do tomorrow night.

sign coburn, not sign hamhuis, not do anything, and sign leighton as our starter.

Well, I hope that tomorrow night before the draft we hear breaking news that Homer has sent Carter to LA for Bernier and a draft pick. I'm getting a bad feeling that Homer doesn't have the balls to do it though. I'm not sure if Hamhuis will be signed tomorrow. He might dick the team around for a while before ultimately signing w/ them.

...and I don't believe Homer is afraid of making any move deemed necessary to improve this team.

I predict nothing happens with trades and signings, and someone good will fall to the Flyers at 89, and they pass on him as well to take someone nobody has ever heard of, like last year passing on Olivier Roy to take Adam Morrison.

DITTO . Now for predictions, I don't think Carter goes (this almost guarantees his departure). Everything I read about Hamhuis is 4 years $16 million. I don't know why Homer would not pull the trigger if that is the case. I doubt Coburn signs anytime real soon. As a RFA I doubt anybody goes crazy for him. I think Homer would go to $2.5 and I don't see anybody, even with the increased cap giving him more than that. Potential has only so much value. I also think they get Leighton as insurance in case they cannot trade Carter or afford Mason or Ellis. Something in the Emery range for last year.
