Seeking their first road victory since October 2014 as they travel to Soldier Field, Washington also finds itself in the midst of a playoff battle in the NFC East. Chicago on the other hand struggles at home this season posting a 1-9 record there since last season. This means that a win for either of them adds needed relief to their away and home problems respectively. Somebody's futility streak ends on Sunday. The questions as always are:

After picking off Cutler on 5 straight pass attempts, 3 of which were run back for a touchdown by Hall, Kerrigan, and Knighton, the Redskins went into a prevent defense in the first quarter, subbed in every backup they could, had Griffin go in in the second quarter, and proceed to lead the redskins backups on 7 straight scoring drives.

As we Redskins fans should not expect anything that might be viewed as too taxing on the Redskins. Such as winning two games in a row, or beating a 3-8 team who's using a 3rd QB who wasn't even on their roster to start the season. How can we expect a road victory this year when they are winless on the road? The simple and correct answer is we cannot. Its a violation of the "Redskins Fans Can't Have Lofty or Even Half Ass Reasonable Expectations" mandate that took effect, who the hell knows, but its in effect now. Believe that.

That said - Bears 17 Redskins -6.

The Bears ain't really shit and shouldn't pump fear into Redskin fans, but since they're playing the Redskins this week. Many Redskins fans will act like they are the incarnation of the 85 Bears and therefore the Skins will have a snowball's chance in hell of winning this game. Hence the -6 score for the Redskins is for any Redskins fans bodacious enough or arrogant enough to believe other-wise.
