This week we go to East Rutherford NJ in hopes of sending a capacity crowd of roughly 82,500 rabid Giants fans home disappointed that our boys came there and produced something that nearly everyone expects us not to do...garner a win! The boys in blue are riding high after going 2-0 in two outings, while our guys are still looking for its' first win of this young season. Statistically, over two games, there is little difference in each team's ability to score with Washington holding a slight edge at 39-36. Defensively, over two games, the PA statistic tells a much different story with NY yielding 32 points and DC a whopping 65 points over that same span. Statistics often are predictors of eventual outcome but I've got a feeling that at the end of this one the only numbers that will count are 27-24 with the boys in burgundy and gold stealing a rare one at MetLife Stadium. Our questions never change but here they are anyway:

1. Who wins and final score?

2. Player(s) of the game?

3. Memorial moment, event or play, that will have them buzzing at the water cooler on Monday morning?

Good luck to one and all!!

I predict pain. Skins do not have a good record in NY. Skins are giving up an average of 32.5 points per game .... so far this year. 33-17 Giants.

If we get blown out Sunday, I believe heads will roll. Whether its coaches or players.

Why does a Redskins fan like a prediction of the Giants winning by 14? Odd. I don't usually make predictions but just because of this I am going to say Redskins 28-20 w/ Cousins having a stellar game & the team showing a little more pass-run balance. If I am wrong I don't care - just trying to show some support.

You're not wrong, in fact there is no right or wrong way to be a fan of any team in any sport. For you it is perfectly understandable to want to see your fav team win and predicting the same. However for others, wanting their fav team to win runs headlong into what they see as a realistic outcome. This doesn't diminish anyone's ability remain a fan/supporter of their respective teams, just as no one should accuse you of blind homerism for predicting or wanting every other fan to predict their team to win every game. We are all/fans/supporters of this team, we all want them to win every game. Truth is, at this point in the team's history....They won't!!

I'm not going to be as elaborate as Krush but I'm thinking along the same lines. I think Kirk bounces back and has a pretty good day, the Giants stuff the run as they do with everyone apparently, Eli does his usual against us and of course we lose. Again. But I don't think heads will roll as a result.

my predictions are based off nfl.com fantasy projections ... i do this every week while looking for players on the wire. This week i picked up victor cruz ... with everyone distracted talking about Norman & OBJ ...i think Cruz will have a good week.

I hope McVay chooses to run the ball more ... but sounds to me like he is passing the buck onto poor execution from Jones.

Blind homer? LOL! My posts are almost always cautious & objective & like I have said numerous times I don't have high hopes for the team this season. I try to be as objective as I can be. I just don't understand why a Redskins fan would like a predication of them losing by 14 pts. Now perhaps I read this wrong & the poster was just agreeing w/ the final outcome. If that is the case - NP - my apologies for reading it wrong.

BTW - thanks for confirming why I ignore your posts. I only saw it since I was not already logged in. Perhaps a reminder that I should always log in 1st.

Well hope you are wrong. I am thinking that desperation may help move the Redskins to have a very good game OR it could simply be a continuation of the other two games & perhaps the beginning of the end for certain players/coaches. Should be interesting.

I think the coaches are still too fascinated w/ their receivers to include their latest toys - Doctson & Davis. I hope that they at least change their ways to include another 10 or so rushes (regardless of whether it is very effective). For God's sake at least mix in a few more short passes.

Not a problem... right or wrong it's your right to mis-read what was written. No big loss to me!

I predict 56 to 10 giants

Manning passes for 7 tds. 6 on breeland

Giants get 200 yds rushing

KC throws 4 ints and passes for 90 yds

Matt jones had 6 yds n 5 carries

Barry has breeland showing OBJ all over the field

Aren't you are being a bit generous on the carries for Matt Jones tho?

I must have a different understanding of the phrase "just as no one should accuse you of blind homerism" than SoCal does.

I really think the match-up favors the Giants here... but the Giants have flaws of their own and can't be expected to walk over anybody.

If I'm the 'skins, I'm looking to get my TE's (especially Reed) heavily involved and the short, crisp passing attack working. Running room is going to be tough to come by. A problem for the 'skins is that coverage for the Giants is also much improved... w/ the Giants boasting perhaps the best set of CB's in the NFL. Reed seems like the top mismatch for Wash, gotta try to ride that horse.

For the 'skins on defense... they have to play safe, try to take away the big play, and then bend but don't break. The Saints defense worked this strategy well last week vs. the Giants. The Giants were unable to build long drives that paid off with TD's.

All that being said, I really like the Giants here. 27-16 Gmen.

Skins should be able to get to Eli and provide some real pressure. Eli probably gives us a pick or two. Whether we catch them and the O turns those into touchdowns is another story. I do not want to use this week to try and establish the run. Save that for next week. Jay needs to block out all the noise and not try to prove a point. The Giants are stacked up front. I don't fell good about this game. Pre-season I had this marked down as a loss and still do. Giants either blow us out or we will a nail biter. I hate picking aginst my team so.forgive my hedge. Lol

Our SKINS will continue to pay for not addressing the DL during the off season. We have no pass rush and cannot stop the run. Kirk Cousins doesn't protect the ball well either. Ellie Mae will have a field day and we go 0-3. Giants 37 Skins 13.
