Any time you have guys you want to get on the practice squad, but fear some team will sign them to an active roster... it should be considered a good thing. And unlike some years in the past, I really hope no one makes roster simply because we drafted them.

Any idea what the rules are for calling a player up from the practice squad? And if another team claims a player before they make it to the PS, don't they have to put them on their 53 man roster immediately?

i believe that is still in place . the number of people and the time they have spent on the roster are different
