I think they have to play them in Game 4. Good for the Preds for not only making the ballsy move in what was arguably their biggest game in franchise history, but also for winning it without them. But they made their point. They are going to have to play these guys again at some point if they plan to win the Cup and you can't sit them for too long and alienate them. Plus the next game is Friday so they shouldn't be too hungover for that one. I think they will be better off for having made this move but they shouldn't push their luck too much.

I agree with julian, you sent the message, the team responded with a big win, and now you're hoping that Rentalov and A. Tits will rebound with a huge performance in front of the home crowd and tie the series at 2-2.

I can understand the hard line approach (no player is above the team), it will be interesting to see what happens in game 5 if the Yotes win tonight.

Risky indeed.....ballsy even. Obviously, Trotz is a damn good coach and seems to have a good feel for his room, but I'd ask the team on this and get a temperature check on what they want (which he may have). Sometimes after a huge win where you rallied around two missing teammates, you want those reinforcements to come back.
If it were me, I'd bring them back into play, but play them 4th line minutes for the 1st period just to reiterate who is boss. Then again, I'm a poster and Trotz is arguably the best coach in the league.....

Good points. I just remember reading at TSN that Radulov, Weber and Suter were really close friends before, during and after the defection. This may have set them off though. AK, well, he probably dug his own ditch.

I've gained some respect for Sergei. He didn't go out (or at least came in before curfew) and I'm sure he was asked. He also had a goal in the Preds win without his two buddies.
