Commanders 2022 schedule: A breakdown within the NFC East

Washington owns the fifth-worst record in the NFL with a win percentage of 42.4%. That percentage looks even worse against NFC East opponents whom they are an abysmal 49-89 against over this span. That 36% win percentage is a sign of the inability to win consistently within the division over the last 23 years.

Last season, the WFT defense was 22nd in yards surrendered, 29th in passing yards given up, 25th in points allowed, and 24th in takeaways. The Commanders were 31st in opponents’ 3rd down conversion percentage, and 18th in red zone scoring percentage allowed.

The Cowboys, coming off a division title, will face much tougher opponents outside of the division with their foes owning an average win total of 8.7 projected wins. This difference in strength of schedule comes from those three straggler games that differ for each NFC East team. The difference between the Cowboys having to play the Rams, the Bengals, and the Buccaneers, whereas the Commanders face the 49ers, the Browns, and the Falcons, could be critical in determining which team has a better record in 2022.

They drafted Robinson for a reason. I think Robinson will be the redzone RB and definitely the goal line RB. I wouldn't draft Gibson in fantasy. lol. I have owned him every year since he has been in the league. Bottom line is that Gibsons numbers will take a huge hit this year. Plus, JD was hurt last year, if he plays a full 17, there will be no great numbers for just one RB.
