Packers injury list today. Note that Damarious Randall has been added to that list with a groin injury. If neither he nor Shields can play, the Pack will have to start a rookie at CB and God-knows-who else opposite from him.

Damn. I thought we had a bunch of injuries, but they are giving us a run for our money.

From 1994 through ’96, five current NFL general managers worked in the Green Bay Packers’ front office.

In retrospect, John Dorsey, John Schneider, Reggie McKenzie, Ted Thompson and Scot McCloughan were part of an uncommonly strong scouting staff working for former GM Ron Wolf as he rebuilt the Packers into Super Bowl champions.

A member of the team’s football staff at the time recently looked back on those days and described each of the scouts in a nutshell.

Dorsey was the hardest working of the group; Schneider the boldest; McKenzie skilled all around but the least outwardly opinionated; Thompson was organized and inscrutable.

And McCloughan, whose Washington team hosts the Packers on Sunday in the wild-card round of the NFL playoffs? The best pure talent evaluator.

hey Cali just read the other day that Damarious Randall suffered a groin injury. With Sam Shields in the concussion protocol and could possible not play on Sunday the Packers def looks like a juice matchup. This game should come down to KC and AR. My thinking is KC should win this battle.

Sam Shields still in concussion protocol. While he still could get cleared to play, it's looking like they won't and will have to rely on two rookies to start at CBs.
I also read that Bakhtiari is probably a game-time decision.

Redskins are fine at cornerback still have Breeland and if we have to move Hall back to corner if worse comes to worse but as for Green Bay they are in a world of trouble if they have to start 2 rookie corners

I don't think Jones will play for us. Morris has to step up big. This means that P. Thomas will be active and that is a great thing b/c he is our best receiving back. P. Thomas is probably the best all around back on this team right now. If the Pack lose Bakhtiari that would be huge but he is probably going to play.

even if he does play he is absolutely no where near 100 percent and Kerrigan and Smith are licking their chops to abuse him Sunday
