Your TE caught two passes. You had one player catch more than 3 balls. Your QB completed 42% of his passes for 7.1 YPA. Your argument is invalid.
That wasn’t on Patterson that he completed 42% — that was on the UM WR’s. They had 11 drops IN ONE GAME. At one point, they dropped 5 out of 6 throws over two drives. 4 drops by DPJ alone on those two drives, that isn’t even including dropping an easy TD catch.
This was the best OSU team I’ve seen in a long time, but if you can limit Young — you can pass on them. That’s where I think LSU or Clemson will attack them.
Now OSU’s offense — good luck trying to stop that. With Fields being able to run and pass - the only way you stop them is if Fields stops himself.
